During these stressful days of preparing for finals, if a school tablet is having issues in the evening or over the weekend, students can still reach their Microsoft 365 accounts. Microsoft 365 accounts are available from any computer with internet access at https://www.office.com/. For SM tablet service, the Tech Center is open on school days from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition, a tablet restart can fix a multitude of issues. Loaner Laptops at SMCHS
The SMCHS Tech Center has a limited number of loaner laptops available for students who need to leave their device for repair
or who forgot their device at home. To ensure availability, loaners must be returned at the end of each day (unless you’re waiting for parts).
**Important reminder** Please be sure to check your tablet to make sure you have both Blue Book and Test Nav icons on your desktop for this weeks testing. If you do not see them please restart ASAP. If they do not show after a restart please bring your laptop to the Tech Center by Tuesday to get this sorted out.
Starting October 1st, 2024, the new SMCHS Tech Center Ticketing System will be used to create, update, track and resolve all request for services for your device. If you need assistance in making a ticket, please stop by the Tech Center and ask Liam to show you how Liam 1.0 software works.
We will need to take the Aeries Server offline on Friday, Feb 16th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for required maintenance and software updating. Please understand that the entire Aeries program will be offline during this period on campus as well as the Aeries online portals. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and assure you that we will do our utmost to get the software back online as soon as possible.
